Squib Programme

As well as completing this entry form you must attend registration and the skippers briefing.

Squib races will be run using the RDYC 2026 Club Sailing Instructions.

It is intended that day one (Wed 8 July) will be a Bay Race designed to last about three hours and day two (Thursday 9 July) will be two races using laid marks and RDYC race marks.

Announcements will be on the Skippers WhatsApp group which you will be invited to join

On the water communications will be on VHF channel 72.

The Squib class flag flown on the committee boat will be Numeral Pennant 5  (Squibs use NP9 in club racing but this is being used used by Group D boats for the Classic Channel Regatta).  Squibs do not fly a class flag.

The entry fee is £30.  This includes a goody bag, a welcome drink for you and your crew on 7th July, racing,  an opportunity to buy tickets for the Market Square Dinner and an opportunity to book and attend prizegiving at BRNC.

• Tickets for the Market Square Dinner on Wednesday 8th July are each £43 (including beer and wine)
• A booking form for the prizegiving  at BRNC will be issued by separately.
