All entries are assigned to a group.  The group determines the sets of boats that start races together and compete directly against each other.

Group A – Flying pennant 6 – Faster, older classic yachts

Group B – Flying pennant 7 – Slower, older classic yachts

Group C – Flying pennant 8 – Faster, newer classic yachts

Group D – Flying pennant 9 – Slower, newer classic yachts

Squibs – No pennant – One-design keelboat class
