 17.30: Prizegiving at Royal Dart Yacht Club

Tuesday July 12thClassic Channel Race Dartmouth to Paimpol – start day

 9.00 – 9.30: Late registration for the Classic Channel Race
 10.00: Briefing for the Classic Channel Race
 13.00: Classic Channel Race – first start
Wednesday July 13thClassic Channel Race finishes off Paimpol

Instructions and entry sequence pennants for entry into Paimpol harbour will be issued from 16.00 to yachts at the anchorage, which is in the vicinity of the finish line. (French Local Time UTC+2). It is important that yachts proceed into Paimpol in their designated groups to facilitate the berthing in Paimpol .

 17.45: Start of the Parade of Sail into Paimpol for the 1st group, followed by group 2 and then group 3.
 18.15 – 20.00: Both Lock gates open (Free Flow)
 21.00: Welcome Apéritif on the Harbour Quayside.
 22.05: Last lock transit for late arriving boats.
 Crews are advised to pre-book restaurants in Paimpol for those arriving and wishing to eat ashore.

In 2017 and 2019 CCR individual posters were given to the participating boats for display in
Paimpol. For those boats that have entered the Regatta before, please make sure you bring the ones
that have been issued at a previous regatta
Thursday – July 14thBastille Day – France’s Fête Nationale

Day in port with regatta at centre of town’s festivities – evening fireworks.

16.00: Briefing for La Course du Tour de l’Île de Bréhat in La Maison des Plaisanciers. A briefing will also be given for the Danse de Classique and the Parade of Sail into Paimpol at the
same time.
 18.00: Prizegiving on quayside for Classic Channel Race
 23.15: Fête Nationale Fireworks on quayside
Friday – July 15La Course du Tour de l’Île de Bréhat & Danse des Classiques

06.00: Picnics issued on quay side
 08.00 – 09.10: Lock Open, Free Flow. Boats depart harbour
 10.30: La Course du Tour de l’Île de Bréhat. – first start
14.00 – 15..30: Picnic off lÎle de Bréhat
15.30: Departure for the Bay of Paimpol
17.30 -19.00: Danse des Classiques off Paimpol (fancy dress encouraged)
 19.00: Boats regroup in 3 groups for the Parade of Sail (same procedure as on Wednesday)
 19.25: Start of the Parade of Sail into Paimpol for the 1st group, followed by group 2 and then group 3
 20.25 – 21.40: Transit of the lock into Paimpol (free flow with both gates open)
Saturday – July 16thClassic Channel Regatta Finale Day

overall results.
 18.00: Apéritif on quayside
 20.00: Supper and party in Salle des Fêtes
